Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actress and singer. The parents of Kristen Bell are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. She was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Kristen is Polish (mother's) and German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen discovered her talents in entertainment at an early stage of her life. In 1992, she attended her first audition and won an appearance in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell 13, who was 13 when her mother signed up for an agent, was also cast in TV and newspaper advertisements. At this time Bell also started training in private acting. Bell was a character who did not have a credit in Polish Wedding (1998), a film released in 1998. Bell was a member of the music and drama groups at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production at her highschool won Bell the starring Dorothy part. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre following her graduation. Bell completed her studies in 2001, decided to leave her university studies to perform the role Becky on Tom Sawyer. The same year she appeared in Pootie Tang however, the sequence in which she appeared was cut. This meant that only her credit sequence exists. Bell made an appearance in Broadway on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival which featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
