Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen (American television journalist) is currently associated with CNBC. She is anchor of the channel's shows 'Squawk in the Street' and 'Closing Bell'. An Ohio native and a native of Ohio, she wasn't too interested in markets or currencies during her time in college. She interned at ForexTV.com when she was an undergraduate at New York University. It was there that she had her first encounter dealing with business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's of broadcast journalism. Following that, she completed an internship of four months at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She returned to the United States and started working in New York at Bloomberg. She became a television anchor eventually. CNBC hired her in December 2013 to be a reporter. After being a co-anchor for 'Worldwide Exchange,' and Power Lunch', she was employed by CNBC in the month of December 2013. She was then offered the job in the year following Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen is the co-anchor of "Squawk on the Street" since 2014. One of the most well-known business journalists today Her primary focus is global consumer news ever since she joined CNBC.
