BeccaTobin, the younger of two sisters, grew up in Marietta, Georgia. Both her parents are lawyers. Her father is Jewish. Tobin's first performance as an actor was when she was four years old, when she was a part of a Christmas tree in the school's holiday pageant.For high school, Tobin was predominantly educated at Pebblebrook High School, but she transferred to Joseph Wheeler High School halfway through her senior year and was a victim of bullying due to. Tobin was unable to walk to her graduation due to the bullying. Tobin graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, New York City in 2007. Tobin was also in an affair with Matt Bendik, nightclub entrepreneur until his passing on July 10 the 10th of July, 2014. In May of 2016 she was engaged to Zach Martin, an entrepreneur. The couple was married in a private wedding ceremony officiated by Jane Lynch in Jackson Hole by Jane Lynch (Tobin's Glee) on December 3rd of 2016.
